• USC School of Cinematic Arts

We started working with Eilythia at the beginning of her Junior year. She had just returned from visiting USC, UCLA, Chapman (Dodge), UC Irvine and CalArts and knew that she would need guidance on her applications and a more complete list of schools to consider.

  • Yale University

Eric is an excellent multifaceted student whose interests included history, english, the harp, drawing and painting. Working together with another independent consultant we developed his supplemental materials to include both a portfolio and selections of his harp playing and submitted competitive applications. Eric is a perfect example of a student with creative talents who desires a university environment where he can explore all his options before determining his course of study.

  • NYU, Tisch

We began working with Taylor during the summer before 12th grade when she realized that she needed help with her Common Application essay as well as her supplemental essays. She had a non-traditional path during high school, attending a large public high school for 9th and 10th grades and then transitioned to home-schooled beginning in the middle of 11th grade. Because of this, while she was tremendously motivated, she lacked the structure and resources that attending school provides so she looked to us for guidance.

  • Northwestern University

Brynae started working with us in the fall of her Senior year. This definitely presented some challenges as the deadlines were approaching fast and Brynae initially considered BFA acting programs. The timing proved to be impossible as preparing for auditions and continuing her excellent grades. As a result, we compiled a list of schools which focused on BA vs. BFA programs.

Whenever you start, the first step is a meeting to discuss where you are today, what are your passions, and your goals for college and beyond. We’ll discuss coursework, extracurricular activities, test schedules, college visit planning, any financial requirements for college, and of course your art.

Keep in mind university based programs do place an emphasis on academics as well as artistic ability, and you need to be admitted to the university AND the college/school of art, while an art/design or conservatory program places much greater emphasis on artistic ability. To give you as great a choice as possible, we focus equally on academic and artistic preparedness when we work with you.

We’ve written several blogs that help outline some of the choices we help you with:

  • BFA/BA/BS? What’s the best degree option for you? Read our blog.

  • Differences between a College of Art and Design/Conservatory and a Traditional Liberal Arts College or University? Read our blog.

  • Applying to an Art School or Conservatory, What’s really involved? Read our blog.

ARTriculate organizes the admissions process, so students can focus on preparing their application for success.
