Kelsey Benedict

Kelsey Benedict is both a working artist as well as a teacher, as she has her own art business and is an independent design contractor. She studied at Simmons University as well as Massachusetts College of Art and design and the prestigious Central Saint Martins in London. Her well rounded art practice and studies allow for her to teach an array of subjects, including fine art, fashion design, fashion communication, graphic design, and more.

She approaches any art form with a conceptual mind and teaches her kids the same. While Kelsey passes onto her students her knowledge of strong technical art skills, she also teaches thinking and storytelling - always encouraging her students to think big. She enjoys creating purpose behind each work, and values art that has a deeper meaning rather than simply having aesthetic sensibility.

Her youthful mind allows her students to have a creatively limitless space in which to learn, as well as allows for a strong sense of connection between student and teacher. She loves to see great ideas come to fruition, and always finds it a delight to help her students bring their ideas to the best place they can be.
