“E” is a multifaceted student whose interests included history, english, the harp, drawing and painting, he was also an excellent student. Working together with another independent consultant we developed his supplemental materials to include both a portfolio and selections of his harp playing and submitted competitive applications. We helped curate his work and write a compelling artist statement that highlighted his creative interests as they intersected with his interest in history and english. He is a perfect example of a student with creative talents who desires a university environment where he can explore all his options before determining his course of study. Yale affords him just this opportunity.
