Northwestern University

“B” started working with us in the fall of her senior year, as applying to college during covid and with a remote high school counselor proved to be stressful. This definitely presented some challenges as the deadlines were approaching fast and she initially wanted to apply to a BFA acting program. The timing proved to be impossible as preparing for auditions and continuing her excellent grades first semester of senior year were conflicting interests. As a result, we compiled a list of schools which focused on BA vs BFA programs.

She worked incredibly hard and submitted an excellent personal statement as well as many supplemental essays. After receiving close to full scholarships for most of the schools to which she applied, she selected Northwestern as she loved the campus and looks forward to the quarter system which allows her to focus on her multi-faceted academic interests of acting and psychology.
